Last Sunday afternoon, June 13th, Braden and Corl made the short flight to attend the Missouri Pilots Association’s Directors meeting at Rolla (VIH). As representatives of the “MidMo Chapter”, we reported on our “Preflight Planning” meeting held the day prior. We’re happy to say that the MPA leadership was quite impressed by our efforts and have promised to lend assistance as necessary as we continue to revive its role as a voice for General Aviation in the center of the state.
Emphasis will remain on the MidMo Chapter serving primarily as a coordinating and collaborating entity serving all aviation enthusiasts in the region. It is also focused on supporting existing organizations such as the Kingdom Pilots Assoc. (FTT), Daniel Boone Flying Club (VER), Cal MO Flying Cub (MO23), and the multiple EAA Chapters: 429 (JEF), 1212 (MCN), 1225 (MYJ), and 1650 (MBY). If there are other groups missing from this list please let us know … everyone is welcome to celebrate the General Aviation Community and its Airports!
